ColorConsole

ColorConsole is an application designed to make using your operating system's command line much easier. If you use the command line often but lack basic functions like copy, cut, find, and replace, this comprehensive application can fill in those holes. You can also use it to modify the font color in order to highlight important lines.

When you open ColorConsole, you'll see the command line as if you opened it directly on your computer. Once there, you can use the command line as you would normally, except for one key difference: at the top of the screen, there's a toolbar with various actions chosen to make your life easier.

From the top menu, you can choose a color for the text and another for the background; bold, italicize, or strike out words; remove specific parts; and make any other font-based modification you desire. One of the advantages of this application is that all the modifications are in your hands. You can even type a single letter with a different color and background without having to type complete words.

ColorConsole also lets you export the command line to HTML and RTF. You can even work with multiple tabs or run the command line on two or more consoles at the same time. Basically, this application has everything you need to make Windows command line your best friend.
